Why I teach music

I. Music is Inherent to Being Human

Music is a universal language that connects us all. It can heal, evoke deep emotions, and bring people together across cultures. In my life, music has been a constant source of joy and comfort, whether performing for a single listener or a large audience. I believe in the power of music to inspire and create lasting connections.

“I believe in the power of music to transform lives, enrich hearts, and broaden minds. It is a mode of expression that knows no boundaries between cultures or ages. Appreciating music is inherent to being human.”

II. Music as a Path to Lifelong Learning

Beyond teaching music, I aim to foster curiosity and a love of learning in my students. Playing an instrument challenges both the mind and body, helping develop focus, patience, and resilience. I am passionate about using music to cultivate these skills, guiding students on a journey of growth, self-discovery, and lifelong learning.

I offer my students many opportunities to share their music through recitals, festivals, and public performances. These experiences help build confidence and contribute to a vibrant, connected community where music brings people together.

If you or someone you know is passionate about learning music, I’d love to hear from you.
